African Cradle is adoptive families. We know the rewards. We know the challenges. We know how important it is to feel embraced by a community of people who are traveling the same road. We support families through traditional post-adoptive services, but we also host events for our community that just bring us together to engage with like-minded individuals.

Education

African Cradle offers a variety of pre- and post-adoption classes for children, parents and families. Classes for adults cover subjects such as transracial adoption issues, attachment and bonding, how to talk with your child about adoption and help them talk to others, hair care for children of African decent, Pre-adoption overview, and many more. Classes for children include language classes, cultural art classes, support groups and more. For families, African Cradle offers family groups, social events and culture camps.
